Chain Take Up

Today I fitted my drive chain slack take up assem. It works like this: There is an under and over rubbing strip so with power on the top chain is taught , the taught chain holds the take up arm up so the slack is taken up by the bottom rubbing strip, when on overrun the lower chain it taught then slack is taken up by the top rubbing strip.
